Cinematic IMAG with Canon C300 at Victory Family Church

Victory Family Church’s 2000-seat auditorium is built for large gatherings, dynamic worship, and powerful teaching. With so many people in the room, IMAG (image magnification) is essential. Every seat needs a clear view of the stage, and the church wanted camera technology that could deliver both visibility and cinematic quality.

Fresh Tech partnered with Victory to design and install a Canon C300 Mark III cinema camera package that brings clarity, consistency, and creativity to their live production.

The Camera Package

The system centers on four Canon C300 Mark III cinema cameras, chosen for their signature Canon color and ability to capture natural, film-like images in a live environment.

Two cameras with 25–250mm lenses were positioned at front of house for long follow shots. In a room this large, these lenses had to be tight enough to capture crisp detail on stage, ensuring performers and speakers could be seen clearly from every seat. A third C300 with a 24–70mm lens provided a wide room shot, adding context and energy to the IMAG mix. The fourth camera, equipped with a 24–105mm lens, was configured as a stage roamer. This mobile position gave the production team the ability to move alongside musicians and speakers, capturing dynamic and immersive angles that brought the audience closer to the action.

Choosing cinema cameras was about more than equipment. It was about creating a visual experience that matched the excellence of the message. The C300 Mark III delivers high dynamic range, cinematic depth, and accurate Canon color that looks natural on screens while still feeling filmic. For IMAG, that means sharper visibility and a more engaging experience across the entire auditorium.
