Clarity for a New Season: Sanctuary Church AVL Renovation

In 2022, The Sanctuary Church undertook a major renovation of their campus. The goal was clear: create a worship environment that would serve their congregation with clarity, flexibility, and long-term reliability. Fresh Tech partnered with their team to deliver an AVL upgrade that transformed the space while preserving its character.

Audio That Fits the Room

At the heart of the renovation is a compact but powerful d&b Y-Series system. The design features three Y-Series loudspeakers as mains, supported by four d&b 10S loudspeakers to cover the balcony areas. For low-frequency energy, four d&b 21S subwoofers provide depth and impact without overpowering the room.

To mix and manage the system, Fresh Tech installed a DiGiCo SD12 Live console paired with an SD-Rack and Waves integration. This combination gives the production team industry-standard tools, the flexibility to run modern workflows, and the headroom to expand in the future. On stage, musicians now use Shure P9RA in-ear monitors, delivering clear, consistent mixes that allow the worship team to lead with confidence.

Lighting That Shapes Atmosphere

The house lighting was also upgraded with 20 Chroma-Q Inspire Mini fixtures. These bring brightness and consistency to the room, while their RGBWA color mixing opens the door for dynamic atmospheres during worship, youth events, and special gatherings.

Lasting Impact

For The Sanctuary , the renovation was more than an equipment swap. It was about creating an environment where the message could be heard clearly and worship could be experienced fully. The new PA delivered consistent coverage and quality, the SD12 console streamlined workflows for staff and volunteers, and the Inspire Minis gave the team new tools to shape the atmosphere of the room.

This project provided Sanctuary with a foundation that feels both reliable and creative. With clarity restored and flexibility built in, their campus is prepared to serve the mission of the church for years to come.
